Prahran Square has emerged from the ashes of what was known as the Cato Street car park on Izett Street, Prahran. Transformed into a world-class urban park that's nearly 10,000 square metres with a multi-level underground car park, it was officially opened on 1 Dec 2019. SEE HERE for the video of The Squares' Opening to give you an idea of what to expect at this urban park. If you've not visited, come along and enjoy the events and activities upcoming from 2019 to 2020 thus far.
With the convenience of 500 parking spaces available 24 hours (2hr parking for $1 until 31 Dec 2019) in the underground car park, it's certainly helped ease the parking problems on the very busy Chapel Street shopping precincts and eateries that run along Windsor, Prahran and South Yarra, making it easy for you to play, shop and gormandise along this popular precinct day and night.
There's a whole lot of free entertainment and activities happening in The Square for its PS (Prahran Sq) Summer Series. Stay in the know by Subscribing to the City of Stonnington newsletters.
