If you haven't seen 'Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado' yet, now is your chance. Catch up with friends for a fun Friday night at The Queensland Art Gallery. Every Friday from August 31 until November 2, 2012, QAG will be open from 5:30pm until 10pm. Prado Up Late will allow visitors to view 'Portrait of Spain' while enjoying Spanish cuisine, live music, and weekly talks from guest speakers.

Join your amigos at The Arrival Bar (Stanley Place entry) for traditional sangria, Spanish wine, beer, or cider. Try some authentic seafood paella at the Paella Stand (Sculpture Courtyard), share some tapas at the Sala Bar (La Sala Del Prado), or enjoy a fine-dining experience at the QAG Cafe (Watermall).

Listen to live music in the Watermall. The amazing talent lined up for Up Late includes local, national, and international artists: Texas Tea (Brisbane), Jae Laffer (Australian songwriter/The Panics), Paul Heaton (The Housemartins and The Beautiful South), and many more.

Learn more about Spanish fashion, food, and culture during the Contemporary Talks series; as guest speakers share their views on Spain.
