Stock up on local food and gifts this weekend
A special Christmas Fete will be held this Saturday from 9am to 12 noon at the popular Poynter Farmers Market, with 40 stallholders and entertainment for the whole family.
Naturopath Adele Plumridge describes the market on the Poynter Farmers Market website as "small yet loaded with fresh local produce. The aroma of fresh breads, pastries, cakes, chutneys, herbs and flowers decorate the entrance and I wanted to take it all home," she added.
The Fete this weekend will continue the markets' tradition of championing local products with fresh fruit and veg, breads, organic meats and seafood available.
The event will also feature a range of Christmas gift ideas including candles, spices, plants, fudge, skincare and delicious cakes.
Kids will be kept busy with a jumping castle and face-painting, while the whole family can enjoy the international cuisine on offer.
Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to stock up for Christmas, find a last minute gift and enjoy a fun morning supporting WA businesses and the community.
