SA's largest historic vehicle, engine and machinery display

Power of the Past celebrates its 35th annual event in 2020!

Taking over Mount Barker Oval on the weekend of 7th and 8th March, Power of the Past is SA's largest stationary engine show, showcasing hundreds of operating engines plus historic tractors, trucks and motorcycles. Complimenting this will be a unique range of collectable items, including rare tools, farming equipment and more.

Display highlights include Allan Bros. engines, Pontiac cars, Ferguson tractors, AJS motorcycles and international trucks.

On Sunday 8th March, there will also be a display of 400 historic vehicles including a vintage, veteran, classic and hot-rod cars and motorcycles.

An exciting swap meet will also take place on Sunday 8th March from 7.00 am. This is your opportunity to buy or sell surplus items, machinery and parts. Plus you can peruse wares made by talented local artists and artisans in the hall!

A range of bustling food stalls will be serving up all your favourite hot and cold foods and beverages during the day including BBQ, tea, coffee, cake, ice-cream, drinks and more.

If you would like to enter your vehicle to be judged (and be eligible for a trophy), register your interest at www.ahmrc.org before 31st January 2020.

Alternatively, vehicle entries can be for display only and no pre- registration is required. This allows for the collectable vehicle to be parked on the oval for viewing by the public. Arrive when you like, leave when you like and the only cost is a gold coin donation to the CFS. Find out more about how to participate in this year's event at www.ahmrc.org.

All are welcome to enjoy this family-friendly community event. It's a must for car enthusiasts and collectors alike! Entry is $5pp and children 16 years and under are admitted free.
