You'll never mixup a Horcrux with a Hufflepuff ever again

Here's everything you never knew you needed to know about Harry Potter. It's the return season of the 2012 sell-out smash hit Potted Potter. This unauthorized Harry Experience can be undergone at the Powerhouse Theatre, 119 Lamington Street, New Farm.

The Potted Potter show toured Australia way back in 2012 and played to sold-out houses across the country. Now, by popular demand, the show makes its record shattering return.

The 2014 Brisbane season starts on Tuesday, 4 November and runs until Sunday 16 November. Tickets are priced from $59.50 possibly with some booking and transaction fees. To book your seat contact Brisbane Powerhouse on 3358 8600 or book online here.

Potted Potter has taken on, and won, the ultimate challenge; it condenses all seven Harry Potter books into seventy riotous minutes which include an actual, real life game of Quidditch.

The show is a must-see for Potter addicts and a great introduction for anyone who's ever wondered what all the fuss is about. There are all your favourite characters as well as the special appearance of a fire-breathing dragon. You will be entranced by the continuous costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts' magic enough to entertain the most devoted Harry fans and their parents in equal amounts. This show is so funny it will tickle your funny bone no matter what your age demographic.

But it's not just funny it's also very educational. If you have never turned a page of a Harry Potter book after 70 minutes of riotous entertainment you will be 'full bottle' on all seven of the books. You will have no problem explaining the difference between a Horcrux and a Hufflepuff to those without a 'Harry' education but only after you have repaired your laughter induced side splits.

You will be joining the huge mass of happy show-goers who have been a part of Potted Potter's run for 30 weeks off-Broadway, five London West End runs and part of this world tour taking in Mexico, Ireland, Canada and Dubai before reaching Australia.

The incredible story of this brilliant show started when Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner created Potted Potter in 2005 for an appearance at a London bookshop. Designed as a five-minute entertainment for fans waiting for the release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth book in the series. From there the show grew into a full-length stage production, first seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2006. Since its dazzling debut Potted Potter has had sell-out seasons at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and New Zealand Comedy Festival in 2009.

The 2014 touring production features two great English performers, James Percy and Benjamin Stratton. James is an actor and stand-up comedian. Following a Law Degree at the University of Liverpool, he trained classically at Birmingham School of Acting. Recently, James appeared Off-Broadway in New York with Potted Potter, followed by a tour of the USA.

The show has been written by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner with some additional material by Richard Hurst.
