Okay, so we've all heard the saying sell it with beer and 'they' will come. I'm not sure which has come first in this instance, but the Stomping Ground Brewing Co. have decided to give the theory a whirl with their Pots and Plants Sale in August. Everyone can enjoy this opportunity to pick up a few new plants for spring while enjoying a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the brand new Stomping Ground Brewing Co bar, restaurant and beer garden.
Whether this is a plant sale or beer sale, I'm not entirely sure. But if you have a penchant for both, then you are surely in luck. You'll be able to pick up a ficus, cactus, cutting or even a new macramé hanger if you so desire. Some of the small businesses stallholders on offer will be Cactus Country, The Middle Aisle, The Plant Society, St Kilda Indigenous Nursery Co Op and Fleurs de Venus among many others.
Then, there'll be FREE BEER… Yes, you read that right, FREE BEER from the Stomping Ground Brewing Co alongside FREE TURMERIC LATTES from Golden Grind and CHEAP cocktails from The Kodiak Club.
And while you're at the market drinking your FREE beer and FREE Latte, participate in a FREE workshop courtesy of Cactus Country, The Middle Aisle and The Plant Society and flex your green thumb in readiness for spring plantings.
The Pots & Plants market and beer fest is happening on Saturday 6th August from 12noon to 3pm at the Stomping Ground Brewing Co bar, restaurant and beer garden located at 100 Gipps Street, Collingwood.
