The Shrine's Spring Family Program running from Monday 19 September to Friday 30 September 2016 during tour times at 10.15am AND 1.15pm is perfect for little ones aged between 6 and 12 years of age.

Located at Birdwood Avenue in the CBD, entry is by donation, however you need to book online as spaces are limited. On arrival, meet at Reception in the Visitor Centre.

Designed with the above-mentioned age group in mind, 'Portraits in Conflict' gets children and adults alike, thinking about the service men and women in the portraits of the 'Behind the Wire' exhibition.

What were they doing 50 years ago in Vietnam during the War? View the portraits and find out. Take inspiration from the artist Susan Gordon-Brown, and create a mixed media portrait which tells the story of someone important in your life. No doubt the kids would love putting their creativity to the fore.

Please note children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian and group sizes for the tour are limited to small groups of 15 (children and adults).
