There are lots of new exciting things happening in the South of Adelaide such as numerous community events and developments engaging the youth, arts, local culture and trade. However, you sometimes have to keep an eye on several newsletters if you want to be part of it all. Luckily for all of us, there is a fresh and funky new space which promises to embrace all of the local assets, the cool characters and the memorable landscape together.



If you have visited Port Noarlunga, you will already know this is not just a beach; it is a historic place, a hub of activity, fishing, surfing and delicious food. In the good old days, this was the place for holiday homes and beach shacks. Time has slowly transformed it into a suburban area, but with iconic landscapes and ancient sites dotted around the place.



Saturday the 12th of November from 5pm will see the opening of Porties Pop Up, a cool space in a vacant lot of land on Saltfleet Street, which has been cleverly transformed by artists, wanderers and crafty people to make it the place to hang out in the summer. The night will be filled with delicious tapas, live music,outdoor bar and craft stalls, not to mention that relaxed and creative atmosphere that is so unique to Adelaide's South.



Entry for the event is $5 cash to be paid on the day, drinks, food and other creations will be available for sale inside, celebrate the old and the new and keep an eye on their Facebook page for upcoming events, markets and movie nights!
