Join me as I travel, play, eat, live and work in cities and places around the world.
The most liveable small community in the world welcomes you to join them in one of the longest running community festivals in Australia. Running through to Australia Day, the Moyneyana Festival in Port Fairy is a popular summer celebration in Southwest Victoria. Nearly all the events are free and the ticketed ones are very affordable.
What started in 1947 to help raise funds for the local hospital is today a festival with 5 weeks of music, art, history, dance, tours, craft, food, movies, competitions and markets for people of all ages. It attracts more than 15,000 visitors each year who enjoy the cornucopia of events put on by the Moyneyana Festival Committee, local community bodies and local businesses in the main street, the village green and other venues around the town. Visit the website for the detailed program.
