Port Broughton Sailing and Boat Club is hosting an art exhibition on the weekend of 10th & 11th June, 2017. The exhibition has the broad theme of maritime. Anything relating to, inspired by or evoking the maritime theme is in. It must be well presented and ready to exhibit.
Furthermore, the organisers wish to encourage a broad interpretation of the theme, in a broad array of mediums; almost any art form and practically any medium.
The exhibition organisers wish to encourage art mediums that are often excluded from exhibitions. They are accepting fabrics (tapestry, weaving, quilting, what-have-you), ceramics, mosaics, pen and ink, prints, crafts, paintings, photography and found-object creations - let your creative mind run wild! Enter your origami masterpiece!
Entry is free. Please get your entry forms in before the cut-off date of June 5th. Late entries may be accepted only at the discretion of the event organisers.
The exhibition will be held in the Port Broughton Community Hall on the corner of Bay St and McKay St, Port Broughton, on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June, 2017.
