A popular project for many woodturners is wooden barreled ball-point pens. They start as just a small block of wood, available in a multitude of different woods. To complete your pens production, can supply all the non-wood parts to make your pens workable.




If you are after a lathe or turning tools, dust extractors or sanders check them out. A large range of finishing products are available as well.


Wooden products have a certain beauty about them and although Pop only sells the raw materials for wood tuning, the raw wood also has an intrinsic beauty.




In a closed room, at the back of the 'shed', are three large wood lathes where lessons are given in wood turning. Lessons are held every Saturday morning commencing at 9.00 am. You can be given an introduction to wood-turning, how to use lathes and training in bowl turning. Due to the current health crisis, training has been suspended. Ring them in the near future for up to date details.


is in an almost hidden position about 200 metres from Maroondah Highway, behind the Harvey Norman complex and opposite the Kings swimming centre. Like all specialist shops the enthusiasts will seek them out.

You could almost say the wood turners are wood alchemists, creating something else through a seemingly magical process.
