Looking for something iconic to take Mum to this Mother's Day? Popeye River Cruises will be running a High Tea on Mother's Day, the 14th of May, 2023.

Located on the River Torrens in Adelaide City, sit back and relax with a sightseeing cruise that will take you down the beautiful waterway, between Weir Gate and the Adelaide Zoo. The main landing is in Elder Park just near the Rotunda and Festival Theatre.



The 90-minute cruise will be a grand affair. Presented in the high tea is a selection of finger sandwiches, scones and petit fours. A complimentary glass of South Australian bubbly, beer, cider or soft drink will be provided on arrival and patrons will be offered a bottomless cup of coffee or tea from T Bar's Australiana collection. When booking, there is a selection of South Australian wines that you may like to include in your package.



Another activity that may be worth a try is the Captain Jolleys Paddleboats . Located at the wooden jetty just near the launch site for Popeye, the paddle boats are a great way to get active in nature and take in the beautiful waterway. The paddle boats will run only in good weather so it is a good idea to check their website before piling in the car.
