Historic Pullenvale creates atmosphere with markets & music
Pullenvale, a small suburb of Brisbane located approximately fifteen kilometres from the City's CBD. It lies in the southern foothills of Mount Elphinstone. There are many suggestions to the naming of the town, yet some do not have documented proof. One newspaper account in 1850 stated that the town was originally named Pullen-Pullen, an Aboriginal wording meaning "Fighting".
The historic Pullenvale Hall located at 302 Grandview Road was once an old pineapple packing shed and is now the centre of many functions, classes and markets.
On Saturday 27th October 2018, the Pullenvale Pop-Up Saturday Market and Live Music along with Kids Clothing Swap and Books will be held in the hall. Below is the list of stallholders attending and a little about their wares.
