Fri 08 Feb 2019 - Fri 22 Feb 2019

There are still many free events around Melbourne and this is one of them! Pop Up Park is all about live music, which you can watch and hear under the stars.

Friday nights are the ones to keep free for this event. You can bring along a picnic blanket, find a soft spot, and chill to the sounds of a Pop Up Park concert. The music is suitable for all ages and the event is held every Friday until 22nd February 2019 at Station Place, Werribee.

There will also be some great headline acts with local talent performing each week. One highlight is The Choirboys on Friday 22 February, who are legends in their own right. They will be singing and wowing audiences with all their hits:

  • "Run to Paradise"
  • "Boys Will be Boys"
  • "Never Gonna Die"
  • "Struggle Town"

  • Some of the supporting artists will include:

  • UnLimited Trio with slick top 40 dance, soul and RnB beats.
  • Local band The Mixx featuring Werribee locals Frank Tiatto, Rob O'Neill and Sally Chatfield (Runner-Up in The X Factor).

  • Each week the music will start at 6.00 pm and it is also a family even,t so you can bring the children as well.

On 22nd February, from 7.15 pm to 8.15 pm, you will be able to see The Mixx and from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm Choirboys will feature on stage.

Each week, there will be different entertainment and the following is a list of the remaining nights:

  • Friday 8th February - Ash Grunwald, Will Campbell, Radio 88
  • Friday 15th February - The Audreys, Jesse Valach, and the Ashleigh Watson Duo
  • Friday 22nd February - The Choirboys, The Mixx, and Unlimited Trio

  • And if you do not feel like cooking, you can always buy an early dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the Werribee City Centre. Or else you could get takeaway and have it alfresco in the Pop Up Park. You can also bring your own food, however, no alcoholic drinks are allowed, so make sure you pack soft drinks instead! Or if you want a drink, there will be a licensed bar where you can buy drinks.

As well as picnic blankets, you are able to bring along low-backed chairs and find a spot on the grass. Seating is not allocated, so please consider other people near you and make sure you are not blocking their views.

During these Friday night live concerts, you will be able to have fun and dance in front of the stage, especially as it gets later into the night!

    Getting There
The Pop Up Park is located next to Werribee Train Station, making it very easy to get there via train or bus.
