There's a HUGE summer in the making with Werribee City Centre . It's FREE music in the park taken to a whole new level. With events running from 10 Jan to 2 Feb 2020 Pop Up Park events are a fine time to share that community spirit while enjoying this FREE Friday Night Live concert series. However, there's more than music happening at this pop up event. On Saturdays, families can enjoy new family releases at an Outdoor Cinema complete with kids craft activities, and on Sundays there's market stalls, food, and lawn games with Sunday Funday!

That's the weekends covered, but it doesn't end there. On weekdays, the Pop Up Park will host FREE community classes and workshops. All that green, comfy deckchairs, umbrellas and lawn games, it's an oasis of must-do, must-see events for your entertainment and all for FREE. Kicking off Friday Night Live is Pete Murray , followed by 80s powerhouse; Eurogliders, ARC (featuring members of Spiderbait, Jet, Powderfinger and You Am I) and the legendary Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows. Se below how the program goes, complete with headline act and supporting local artists. All events are at Station Place, Werribee from 5.30-10pm.

The Pop Up Park is next to Werribee Train Station, making it easy to get to via public transport. A licensed bar will operate during events held on Friday nights, but at all other times, it's an alcohol-free zone and BYO alcohol is not permitted. Smoking is not permitted in the Pop Up Park, nor are Pets (excludes assistance animals). Bring your own picnic or buy; just bring your blanket to settle in for an evening of entertainment under the stars with the stars.

  • Pete Murray is one of ours, much loved and respected as a singer songwriter. He's currently working on new music to share with his fans and to add to his 5 hit records, and many multi-platinum singles with hit singles.

    The voice of a generation, Eurogliders Grace Knight and Bernie Lynch reunite on stage again. Formed in 1981, all 80s lovers, pull out your blue eye shadow, your stonewash denim and tease your hair, coz there's prizes for the best 80s costumes and dance moves!

    Who better to close out a huge Pop Up Park summer of Australian music than the charismatic Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows ! Musicianship, infectious live shows and rootsy rhythms from the writer of milestone Australian songs like 'So Young', 'Shape I'm In', 'Hold On To Me', 'Harley and Rose', 'Chained To The Wheel', 'Never Let Me Go', 'Chosen Ones' and so much more!


    After chilling with the musos on Friday, it's OUTDOOR CINEMA time Saturdays! All events are also at Station Place, Werribee from 6-8pm each night. However, come down early for FREE kids craft from 3-6pm!

  • Sat 11 Jan - Aladdin (2019) - the charming street rat and his Genie. PLUS Kids Craft - make your own lantern and try ribbon twirling and plate spinning!
  • Sat 18 Jan - Toy Story 4 - a road trip and a new toy named Forky. PLUS Kids Craft - decorate your own cowboy hat, play ring toss and try ribbon twirling.
  • Sat 25 Jan - Dumbo (2019) - a flying elephant helps save a struggling circus. PLUS Kids Craft - Colour in your own circus paddle bat, blow bubbles and try ribbon twirling. From 4-6pm also enjoy a free performance from Jugg Life – featuring two of Australia's best jugglers!
  • Sat 1 Feb - Wonder Park - All an amazing run-down amusement park needs is imagination to fix it up. PLUS Kids Craft - Create your own pinwheel or megaphone, blow bubbles and try ribbon twirling.


  • Nope, we haven't forgotten Sunday Funday. Each week takes on a new flavour with different cuisines and performers for a low stress Sunday. Browse through the market stalls and let the kids loose to burn off some energy with lawn bowls and games, plus a children's animal farm. It's time to relax and try out Mexican, Asian, or Irish cuisines for a bite to eat.   • Sun 12 Jan - Mexico - street eats from Dos Amigos Food Truck, Sally's Country Corn and Phat Franks plus a three-piece Mariachi band!
  • Sun 19 Jan - Asia - street eats from District 3030, Rai Thai and Phat Franks plus Chinese Rainbow Dances and talented young trio, 300 Seconds.
  • Sun 2 Feb - Ireland - street eats from Jimmy O'Neills, The Wee Kitchen or Phat Franks and enjoy the DJ tunes and performances from the Irish Dempsey Dancers.

    Held in the heart of the City Centre, Wyndham City's FREE Australia Day program will be filled with a great lineup of family entertainment, live music, kids activities, market stalls, food trucks, movies, fireworks and more.
