Chadstone at 1341 Dandenong Road, Chadstone is installing larger-than-life balloon sculptures in the largest balloon installation Australia has ever known. Not surprising - go big or go home. To experience this phenomenon, head to Chadstone from 24 June to 9 July and marvel at over 25,000 balloons in centre for their School Holiday Program - Pop Art , an on-going commitment to the ever popular Entertainment Series. The series features prehistoric activations centre wide including an impressive underwater world nestled out the front of David Jones, and a larger-than-life Brachiosaurus made up of 9,000 balloons alone. Other entertainment includes free balloon twisting workshops, free live balloon shows and more.


Explore the Pre-Historic Park located lower ground level, outside David Jones. where enormous balloon dinosaurs, snakes, ferns and volcanos come to life. Or take a dive into the Underwater World located lower ground level, outside Target, where colossal sea creatures await. You can expect a giant sea monster, submarine, turtles, sharks and fish, all made from balloons. When you hit the website for more details, you'll find the show and the workshop have already sold out. However, the site encourages you to check back intermittently for available sessions as cancellations may occur. Walk-ups are accepted, however, it's subject to availability. The Pop Art balloon installations have been designed by renowned balloon artist Chris Adamo and even if you don't get into the workshop or show, there's plenty to marvel at in Chadstone, so stop for a look at the imaginative balloon installations, grab a meal and a drink and make a day of it.
