Poowong Pickers Festival is now a huge annual event run to coincide with the national Garage Sale Trail initiative.

Poowong can be found 93km from Melbourne, 15km from Korumburra and 27km from Warragul.

You can host a stall at the event for $20 and registration for home events can be now be made by heading to the Facebook page.

Registrations close on the 15th October, so apply now to make sure you don't miss out.

Previous years have had over 40-50 registered sales in this eco-minded town.

This is my idea of a fun way to spend a morning.

It's also helping to fund a great cause - "Money raised from the seller registration fee goes toward Gippsland Unwrapped waste reduction campaigns."
