Pooraka Sunday Flea & Produce Market

Home > Adelaide > Markets
Published June 6th 2011
After a bargain and some fresh foods too> Pooraka Sunday Market is an undercover flea and farmers market with over 130 stalls and stands, regulars and one-offs.

As the name 'flea market' implies, it's a good old fashion style 'trash 'n treasure market', where you'll find all kinds of weird, wonderful and useful second hand goods up for sale and can snap up a bargain.

However, there is also another side to Pooraka Sunday Market; you can also buy fresh produce such as Farmer's Market style fruit and vegetables, and handcrafts goods from local artisans. Being undercover, you know it's there 52 Sundays a year.

It usually has a great range of second hand clothes, aka vintage clothes too.

Pooraka must be one of the least pretension and most diverse markets in Adelaide. It is certainly the place you're most likely to pick up that bargain for nothing that sends the Collectors Show crazy.

Foods and drinks are also available too. Every Sunday from 6 am-for serious bargain hunters. For more go to the Adelaide Markets Website.
