Sunday 19th October will be the first jazz lunch at Noosa Blue Resort in partnership with Noosa Jazz Club, featuring Noosa's own The Jazz Factory. Live music starts at 1pm, though you are welcome to come along early.



The lunch menu is perfect to share, with Tapas choices including duck, seafood, ribs, and a selection of gourmet pizzas, and you can choose anything from bubbly to cocktails and craft beers from the bar selection.

The Jazz Factory broke tradition in its earlier days being the first Queensland based traditional jazz band to tour south to Melbourne, and have appeared at The Victorian Jazz Club and Kynetoon "Jazz By The Riverside".

They've performed at QPAC, Southbank, Bellingen Jazz Festival, Brisbane Jazz Club Carnival, Magnetic Island Jazz Festival, Alice Springs, Norfolk Island Jazz Festival, and have popped up anywhere from Townsville to Sydney on occasion.

In 2008 The Jazz Factory toured Europe playing at the Dresden Dixieland Jazz Festival, Berlin, Apeldoorn, Holland and Southern England. With more than 600 songs in their repertoire they've played on planes, boats, mountaintops and will now appear poolside at Noosa Blue Resort for the Sunday Jazz Lunch on 19th October, and 2nd November.

The Jazz Factory draws its inspiration from an earlier era of love songs, rip roaring jazz and great fun times. If you like Louis Armstrong, Irving Berlin and Duke Ellington, you will like the sounds of this band! From sousaphone to vocals and clarinet to banjo along with vocals Jazz Factory has a clean sound with great harmonic balance, providing the perfect accompaniment to lunch poolside at Noosa Blue.

Noosa Blue Resort supports local community, with ticket proceeds to Sunshine Coast Community Hospice – Katie Rose Cottage and the 2nd November lunch to launch Movember, feel free to don a 'mo' for this one, it's fun and will help raise awareness for men's health too!
