I am a world traveller who likes to learn new places and faces, wander with my man wherever the wind blows, and bring my three young adventurers along for the ride. I also love a good coffee.

Hungry for adventure? Eat here
It might be a pub, but Ponyfish has good food, great service, and beer that appeals to really excited Americans. I went entirely for the location.
It's under the bridge, right on the Yarra River.
I love this. Why is Melbourne so cool?
It's a storybook kind of place. The kind where you take 10 paces, halfway across the bridge, then down the wooden stairs you go. Pass the thick ropes, life rings, and other nautical elements. Find the man in the striped shirt and order from a yummy menu.
Pushing past the clusters of chatty, happy people drinking beer and eating pub food, I half expected to see someone with an eye-patch, but only in a pleasant, adventury sort of way.
We sat at an edge table, which is colder because of the wind. I love the wind, though it did blow at the paper napkins a bit. The table marker was a weathered playing card. It all feels right.
One of the things I love so much about this city is the way kids are treated. The kids are welcome here, they know it, and we all appreciate it. The whole scene creates a mood that flows. Just like the river.
