Winner of the "Best Cafe in the West" award in 2021 in Delicious magazine, offers a good variety of cafe-style dishes, some of which are quite unique. You may have to wait a while for your food during the peak lunch hour but the wait is worth it.

As its name implies, the Breakfast Pot Stickers feature a breakfast inspired filling consisting of scrambled egg, sausage, bacon and chives. The filling had a delectable smoky taste with its juiciness set off wonderfully by the crisp dumpling skin. The accompanying salad provided an element of freshness and the topping of sesame seeds completed the dish. They were particularly delicious eaten together with the tomato chilli sauce whose flavour reminded us a bit of the chilli sauce that comes with Hainanese Chicken Rice.



A great choice for vegetarians, the Nest had poached eggs cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. The "nest" refers to the bed of tempura vegetables and crispy leeks which were fried to golden brown, with the vegetables still retaining a bit of bite. Completing the dish was lemon hollandaise sauce that complemented the other ingredients well with its creamy taste, we chose to have it served on the side so we can add as much as we desired to the dish.



Their Crunchy Chicken Wings had succulent flesh contrasted nicely by crispy coating. However, we thought it would have been a bit tastier if it had a bit more seasoning. Served with the wings were Sidewinder Fries which were cooked just right and coleslaw for some freshness. Chipotle mayonnaise was served on the side to dip the wings and chips in to add more flavour.



The size of the slice of Pear and Almond Cake was very generous. It had a lovely degree of almond flavour and the pear still retained a bit of firmness. The crispier edges of the cake notably set off the softer interior well. As you would expect, whipped cream was served with the cake, which did a good job of serving as a foil to its sweetness.



To complement your meal, Pony and Cole offers a wide range of beverages. Customers that visit during weekdays can choose from a selection of salads that can be ordered for takeaway to enjoy at home.
