I'm a Sydney girl who loves to travel, take photographs and write. The world is our oyster.

Held every second and fourth Saturday mornings in each month of the year, the small town of Pomona on the Sunshine Coast comes alive with a bustling produce market and general market.

At these markets, you can buy all sorts of fresh vegetables, fruit, seedlings, homemade honey, cakes and collectables from over 65 stalls. You can find an entertainer singing great songs to keep the atmosphere alive.

The paths are wheelchair friendly and there is free street parking all around the market. Dogs are allowed but on a leash only, so you can bring your furry friend.

Once you have finished at the markets, you can stroll the streets of this cute country town. Pomona is only a short drive from the coasts famous Noosa area.
