Celebrating 20 years, the Polish Festival is coming in big and strong this year on Sunday 10 November 2024 from 10am to 6pm with a full program of entertainment and cultural events that brings Poland to your doorstep. You'll find a showcase of Poland's famous hospitality, hearty food and romantic traditions, featuring song and dance, merchandise and culinary delights guaranteed to transport you to the historical town squares of Europe. Whether you love it for the lively, old-world atmosphere, unique shopping or just the tasty food and beer, this festival has something for everyone. So come along and join in the celebrations.

The Main Square at Fed Square, corner of Swanston and Flinders Streets in the CBD will hum with a lively old-world atmosphere amidst live music and swirling colours of traditional dancers, as well as unique shopping opportunities. From exquisite amber jewellery to unique Boleslawiec ceramics, and talented local artisans displaying their handcrafted wares, this truly is a market like no other. The Edge will feature an array of local and international artists. Enjoy the sounds of jazz or be swept away by beautiful Chopin etudes played by some of Australia's top pianists. The kids don't miss out either, with face painting, an interactive photo booth, and arts and crafts activities where they can make wianki (wreaths) and masks of Smok Wawelski (the Wawel Dragon) at the KidStop.

What's a festival without food! - and there's plenty to enjoy with mouth-watering cuisine on offer like pierogi (stuffed dumplings), bigos (hunter's stew) and Kielbasa (sausage), as well as a huge assortment of traditional cakes and pastries. It’s guaranteed you will leave with a love for Polish food. Bring your crew or make new friends in the Beer Garden where you'll find a variety of Polish beers.
