If you live so far South that you have a polar bear for a pet, you probably already know about the .

In reality, is a whole series of playgrounds spread out over a large grassy area beside Point Hut Pond (not to be confused with the picnic-only area on the other side of the water). It ranges from a little playground for tiny tots to a Flying Fox that's exciting enough for teenagers to try. It also features a purpose-built leaning tower to climb.

There is also a basketball court, public toilets, and picnic/BBQ facilities. Although TAMS lists its location as the corner of Woodcock and Knoke Streets, you actually need to go a little further and onto McGilvray Close.

The pond is beautiful but quite reedy on the near side, so picnics may attract a few more bugs than usual.
