Gnomes and graffiti inspired art are part of the latest free
'Point & Click' Exhibition at the
Art & Design Precinct in Brisbane's West End.
The Point & Click' Exhibition showcases a range of new and established artists featuring digital art, photography and art that has been created involving technology. The art on show is very affordable with many items for sale at under $100 and some from $12.
Artists exhibiting are:
Joshua Blake with his 'all day, all night' series, an urban inspired selection of miniature portraits.
Michelle Bowden - A colourful selection inspired by her travels including one I describe as 'Christian kitsch.'
Sharon Wellings - Images inspired by landscapes from Beachmere in Queensland; Skye in Scotland to North Vietnam.
Keith Virtue - A quirky collection entitled 'Yes, but is it art?'
Magda Labuda's work has a humorous selection of gnomes
Colleen Stevenson work is inspired by nature.
Scott Burnham – A slideshow of images
The exhibition is open daily from Tuesday to Friday 10am - 6pm and weekends 10am - 5pm until 13 August. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available or combine your West End visit to the markets or many eateries with an inspiring trip to this delightful gallery.
The gallery itself is tucked away amidst a pallet factory and church in the industrial heart of the West End at 10 Bailey St, that adds to its character of the venue. Admission is Free.
Check out all exhibition details at the
Art & Design Precinct website or call (07) 3844 3223.
