Point Cartwright is located at the northern end of Kawana Beach. The magnificent views of the coastline from the headland are absolutely breathtaking, and it's not unusual to spot the odd whale here and there.

Breathtaking views from the headland at Point Cartwright

A popular place for surfing, fishing, and dog walking with an off leash area designated between 4pm and 8pm daily. There is also plenty of room for a family picnic on the grassy slope with convenient toilet facilities both on the headland and near the car park and playground.

Strolling around Point Cartwright has never been more enjoyable, with shaded areas along the concrete path, bench seats, and tables and chairs along the way all kept very clean and tidy.

When you have finished splashing around the rock pools and soaking up the views you can finish off at One On La Balsa Cafe. Fresh juices, merlo coffee and scrumptious food all at reasonable prices served with a smile.

The only problem you will have visiting Point Cartwright, is that you won't want to leave.
