A heartfelt tribute to Flamenco and Iberian culture, Poemas de Iberia was created and produced by Sebastian Sanchez, who has successfully brought this show to life in Europe.
Featuring an all-star cast, it comes to Australia for a strictly limited season this February!

The spectacular cast includes:
Juan Aguirre (Sevilla/Chile)
Juan Aguirre is a Chilean flamenco dancer who studied in Seville. He has performed across Europe and Latin America and opened Flamenco Juan Aguirre in Santiago, Chile, in 2023.
Sebastian Sanchez
Sebastian Sanchez is an accomplished flamenco dancer and choreographer from Australia, with over 15 years of experience performing internationally. He is passionate about teaching and sharing flamenco traditions through his performances.
Simone Pope
Simone Pope is an Australian flamenco dancer who has studied extensively in Spain. She has performed internationally, contributing to flamenco’s presence in Australia and abroad, and is known for her stage productions.
Amari Leiva Urzua (Sydney/Pepa Molina Compañía)
Amari Leiva-Urzua is an 18-year-old flamenco dancer from Sydney. She has won multiple awards, performed internationally, and is part of Compañía Pepa Molina. She’s a rising star in the flamenco world.
Zoe Velez (Sydney)
Zoe is an Australian flamenco singer who began her journey at 18 and has since performed in renowned venues, studied in Spain, and collaborated with many flamenco artists in various projects.
Marc Van Doornum (Sydney)
Marco Van Doornum, a flamenco guitarist, has studied under Spanish masters. He has performed internationally and now works with Compañía Pepa Molina in various flamenco productions in Sydney.
Cherie Morgan (Melbourne)
Cherie Morgan is a flamenco singer and dancer, and the director of Flamencollab in Melbourne. She studied in Spain and has performed internationally, also teaching flamenco singing and performing in flamenco productions.
Fernando Mira (Melbourne)
Fernando Mira, an Australian-born flamenco dancer and actor, has performed internationally in productions like
Strictly Ballroom and
Soul Mates, blending his passions for flamenco and acting in various film and TV roles.
Shenton Gregory
Shenton Gregory is a composer and actor known for his work in Shenzo’s Electric Stunt Orchestra and as a member of Four Play String Quartet. He collaborates with artists across flamenco, opera, and more.
David Heisner
David Heisner is a flamenco guitarist who trained with the Jero and Morao families in Jerez. A graduate of el toque de los morao, he collaborates with top flamenco artists worldwide
