Bringing the best of Sydney's small bar scene to the coast, Pocket Bar Terrigal is about to become your new favourite place.

Picture this: You and a group of your classiest friends decide you want to go out for some classy drinks. But where to go? There aren't many options on the Central Coast for a quiet drink - most of the choices are over-crowded, noisy, and not so much with the sophistication.

Enter Pocket Bar Terrigal. Believe me when I tell you that this cocktail bar is the answer to all of your alcohol-based prayers. Walking in, you're greeted by exposed brickwork, knick-knack-filled shelves, and a bevy of helpful barstools - just waiting to support your new cocktail habit. Opposite the bar is a floor to ceiling mural, while the back half of the bar plays host to a collection of sofas and chairs - for those who want to settle in.

Oh, you want to know what's on the menu? Well, it's expansive - the wine and spirits list puts every watering hole for miles to shame - but the cocktails are what you should be focusing all of your attention on. Need some recommendations? That's where I come in. You need, let me stress this - need to try the Todo Bueno - it's a Rio-inspired combination of Leblon Cachaca, passionfruit, mango, pineapple, lime, and vanilla. Need.

Looking for something with a little more kick? No worries - the
Smoking Rocket is your drink. You'll get some Cazadroes Blanco and smokey Ardeg 10-year-old with lime juice, agave syrup and red chilli. Like your cocktails a little more pink and fruity? Hey, I'm not here to judge - especially if you're going to order the Pocketmelon Martini. The geniuses behind the stylish bar will take a heap of fresh watermelon chunks and shake them with 42 Vodka, Kaffir Lime and sugar syrup. Fruity. Pink. Heaven.

Once you've decided which cocktail to treat yourself to, you'll probably want something to go with it. You cannot go past the deconstructed duck pan crepes. It's physically impossible - just accept your fate and order them. You won't regret it. If you're after something a little heartier, allow me to point out the weuben sandwich - it's Pocket Bar's take on the classic reuben - served with wagyu, fries and cornichons.

For dessert, hit the sweet crepes portion of the menu. Or, hey - go back for more cocktails. You'll no doubt want to try them all.
If you don't? Well, that's when I judge you.
