Abseil for PMH Fundraiser

There are a whole lot of people in Perth right now who are building themselves up for a walk of a lifetime - off the edge of the QV1 Building in the CBD.
The QV1 is one of Perth's tallest buildings and participants in this particular challenge are choosing either to abseil or zipline from the very top to the very bottom. (That's 40 stories of 160 metres!)
There are over 300 people making the leap and the charitable funds will be going to
Princess Margaret Hospital.
Princess Margaret Hospital has served the children of Western Australia for over 100 years. When it became time for a new hospital, the PMH Foundation have been working hard to help fund the Perth Children's Hospital that's replacing the current hospital.
One Perth business woman is tackling the challenge regardless of her overwhelming fear of heights. It's not the first time she's stepped into thin air for charity - in 2014 she jumped out of a plane for breast cancer research.
Chantal Vanderhaeghen is a meditation and mindfulness teacher and owner of international skin care brand,
Franc Essential.
Children's Health has become a matter close to Chantal's heart since celebrating the arrival of her partner's grandson in 2015. Family is playing a big part in this endeavour as Chantal's beloved niece, Fabienne Vanderhaeghen, Perth's international model, will be joining her in the leap. The two are excited to build memories together.
While Chantal is tackling the event on the one hand to support
PMH and the children who need their care, she is also undertaking the challenge to push herself out of her comfort zone.
So far $161,230.61 has been raised altogether by participants as a whole.
