Plenty - West End Brisbane Cafe – Delicious food, great coffee & a relaxed eco-friendly atmosphere

Brisbane is becoming ever so popular with all the new trendy "Melbourne Style" cafes that keep on popping up, and the new addition of Plenty is definitely one that will not disappoint!

The Café, originally an old factory warehouse, has been transformed into a spectacular open barn-style eatery. From the moment you enter this establishment you notice the incredible high ceilings, large barrels and wooden pallets giving it this unique earthy industrial interior look. The use of these raw rustic materials brings a sense of nature indoors, making you feel that you have been transported to the serenity of the country. Its relaxing laid-back atmosphere makes it a perfect place to go for breakfast or lunch with friends and family.

This eco-conscious café certainly lives up to expectations when it comes to the food. With the slogan "know your farmer" on the outside, the owner is striving to bridge the gap between the local farmers that produce the food and us, the residents. There is a huge emphasis on the use of locally farm sourced fresh produce, and the authenticity of this freshness can certainly be tasted in each bite of food you take here.

The breakfast menu is written up on a huge blackboard and is ever-changing depending on the season's harvest and availability so there are always new meals to try. The variety means that there is something for everyone from home-made birch museli to freshly baked eggs. Prices are also quite reasonable ranging from an affordable $5.50 to $14.50.

I had the haloumi tart with Moroccan spiced pumpkin puree and caramelised onions which was just incredible with an explosion of flavours in your mouth. This with a delicious cup of coffee was the perfect start to my day.

My partner had the eggs with spiced tomatoes, haloumi, mint and eggplant sauce, which were all cooked to perfection.

Plenty is ideally located on Montague Road, just opposite Davies Park making it even a perfect pit stop before or after the bustling West End Saturday Markets.
If you have not been yet, it is a MUST!
