Just larger than a hole in the wall, Please Say Please brings together some of Adelaide's top baristas to the CBD. Tucked away on the business end of Grenfell Street, it is an easy spot to miss, but well worth the hunt. The coffee at Please Say Please is proudly sourced from Melbourne's Proud Mary (fun fact: Proud Mary's Cafe is on the street I used to live on in Melbourne and has the only six-group coffee machine in Australia. Worth a look if you are in Melbourne).

Please Say Please is about the size of a large moving box but what they lack in size they make up for in quality. Most patrons just stop quickly on their way to work for one of their exceptional coffees or macarons but if you can find a spot on the communal table there is also a range of danishes, paninis, and soups on offer for breakfast or lunch.

With two baristas from Bar 9 and one from Paddy's Lantern lending their expertise to Please Say Please, you can expect some pretty amazing coffee and they do not disappoint. Anyone who is looking for a barista who knows everything about the single origin of the day should look no further than Please Say Please. The staff are friendly and extremely knowledgeable in caffeine. The result is smooth and perfectly balanced coffee that is hard to beat.

[ADVERT]Now to the macarons.

Please Say Please first became known to me when they posted pictures of their bacon and egg macarons on their Facebook page back in April. Since then there has been popcorn, toffee apple, cinnamon donut and wizz fizz flavours. They have even jumped on the latest New York food fad in recent weeks with the cronut (croissant cross donut), which I was dying to try but missed out on. When I visited Please Say Please their macaron of the day was Nutella waffle. It was crunchy, chewy and sweet, everything you want in a macaron and somehow completely conveyed Nutella waffle.

Please Say Please is the latest Adelaide coffee spot that is bringing a bit of excitement to the city and I am hoping that it will set an example for more dedicated baristas to open up in the CBD. Please Say Please is always changing their house blend and resident macaron so pop in on your way to work and check it out.
