This event has ceased for 2012 but will be returning in 2013.

Playground Professors is the first monthly children's festival in Brisbane. Launched in May by the Victoria Park Golf Complex and Function Venue, the second Playground Professors is planned for the first weekend of school holidays - Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 11am until 3pm.

The festival will feature face painting, performances, workshops, and more. Aimed at children between the ages of two to twelve, younger children will delight in the petting zoo, jumping castle, and crayon corner. Older kids will enjoy taking part in the wonderful workshops: art, African drumming and dancing, circus, and Kiddywinks puppets.

Performances include a magic show, storytelling, and Mr Toot the Clown.

Entry to the festival costs $10 per child (children under two are free). Workshops are an additional $10 and can be booked upon entry.

The Victoria Park Golf Complex is located at 223 Herston Road in Herston, only two kilometres from Brisbane's CBD.
