Have you ever wanted to play Golf but felt daunted by the full Golf course set up and the knowledge that there would be some impatient members hurrying beginners along? That was me once. One day I was determined to get some private lessons in less pressured environment. I wanted more than fun at Putt Putt Golf with the kids. I searched the Internet and came across Par 3 Golf in Terrey Hills.


This was the perfect place to introduce me to Golf. I booked a series of lessons and gained my confidence. This course is an 18 hole course with a Par 3 on each hole. It is an easy stroll for any age group. This pitch and putt course is designed to be played with a maximum of 3 golf clubs generally a pitching wedge, sand wedge and putter. I personally like to use a 7 or 9 iron sometimes too. The hole length average is 55.5 metres, ranging from 38 metres to the longest of 83 metres. The tee areas are Synthetic grass so you can mostly hit straight off the mats.

I love the day / night aspect offered at Terrey Hills Par3. You can play at a time that works with your busy schedule. I also think it is great as a fun date day/night out or with a group of friends. Perfect for entertaining business clients and for Corporate team building events. Open 7 days a week from 8.00am - 10.00pm weekdays and 8.30am-10.00pm Weekends and Public Holidays. The rates are affordable , 18 holes - ranging from $20 Adult, Seniors/Students $16, Juniors $12, Family of 4- $55. Kids under 5 are free with playing adult. You can also become a member for special rates and free use of the Practice Putting Green.

I enjoyed it so much I would often just go by myself and have a hit. Then when school holidays rolled around I booked my children into the Holiday camp lessons. They had never played golf before and thoroughly enjoyed it.



This allowed me to build up the confidence to play at one of the full Golf courses which we have a plethora of choice on the North Shore and Northern Beaches.
