Don't get bored these school holidays
Summer has come to an end, the towels are washed, the bucket and the spade is packed away, and the rain umbrella swaps spots with the beach umbrella in the boot of the car. But wait a minute and don't act too fast as the fun at South Australia's favourite local beach is set to continue for a few more weeks yet.
From 18th April to 28th April the City of Holdfast Bay are putting on a two week program of fun known as Play at the Bay where visitors are encouraged to play, explore and experience a range of activities and workshops during the school holidays. With several key themes there is bound to be something to keep even the most active of kids occupied and enthralled. Be Active is the first theme and includes such activities as the Holdup Race around the Bay, Grasshopper Beach Soccer, Bubblemaker Scuba Experience and the Snorkel Experience.
All workshops and events are held within the district of Holdfast Bay. Bookings are essential and places are going fast so make sure to book on time to secure your spot. Registrations do close 24 hours prior to each activity. For further details and bookings, refer to the City of Holdfast Bay website or their Facebook page.
