Environmentally Friendly Workshops Give Plastic Bags Flick
The hot topic on everyone's mind at present has been the ban on plastic bags, where Queensland and Western Australia are now coming in line with the ACT and South Australia and thereby taking ownership on what plastic bags have done to our environment.
The City of Adelaide Community Centres are coaching people to learn how to reduce the impact by holding workshops in making your own beeswax wraps, how to cook money-saving meals and how to become clean green.
The cost of the workshops varies from $5.00 to $15.00 depending on the requirements and time allotted. When booking your workshop through the respective websites, you see where the events are being held. Not all workshops are at the same venue. To find out more information on these workshops, please contact Ella Siimpson on 08 8203 7004 or email E.Simpson@cityofadelaide.com.au
