As I parked to have a coffee at Coffee and Tea Merchants on the highway home, I noticed some unusual flowering pot plants at the neighbouring nursery.

Very like the coffee shop, this place looks nothing from outside but is well worth the stop. At the front is a small shop with fruit and veg, ice creams and a small range of local jams and honey.

The nursery part is quite large and includes a wide range of plants as well as garden ornaments. I was quite tempted by Ned Kelly.

Here are the 2 pot plants I couldn't resist. I have never seen them before. The nursery owner said he'd ordered a mixed tray and they aren't labelled. He'd no idea what they are either. The flower is like mix between a nasturtium and an orchid and the leaves have a geranium-ish look. If I saw them in an illustration I'd have thought they were an artists' invention. Now of course I have no idea what part of the garden to plant them in.
