Pot a plant or macrame a pot holder with your mum
Why not do something different for Mum this Mother's Day with a visit to My Bakery Lane in Fortitude Valley on Saturday 11th May 2019 for the Plant and Homewares Market. Let her choose a special gift while spending the day together meandering around the stalls. The Plant Market is being brought to life by Max and Mort, My Botanical Lab, Bonnie Hislop and Alice Nightingale.

If you would like to bring along a pot from home you can pick your plant and pot it at the various potting stations, which are situated around the laneways. Getting crafty and earthy at the same time is always fun. If this is not for you, potted plants are available for purchase, ready for you to take home.
Apart from nature's blooming beauties of abundant plants, there will be stallholders with merchandise consisting of ceramics, candles, homewares, crafts, flowers, interactive stalls and workshops. You and your Mum may like to take part in the macramé workshop making a pot holder for your new plant.
