This Sunday 1st December, Plant Empire is hosting a "Crazy Planter Claws" Christmas Market from 9 am!
It's set to be a great day out for all the whole family with amazing deals on a diverse variety of plants, bustling arts and craft stalls with unique gift ideas and delicious food on offer!
Entry is FREE! Come down bright and early and get your hands on rare and collectable plants. Plus there will be thoughtful giftware from local makers. Highlights include one of kind original art, greeting cards, calendars, jewellery, ceramics and so much more!
With the Christmas shopping done, you can relax and tuck into a yummy breakfast or lunch from the food trucks.
Adding to the vibrant community atmosphere is an upcycled fashion parade by Restitch Upcycling Studio at noon and interactive Christmas decoration workshops for kids with ceramic and mosaic artist Jane du Rand at 11 am and 1 pm (fees apply).
Jane is one of the world's leading mosaic artists and you can check out her impressive 4.3 x 3 metre mosaic mural installed outside Plant Empire. The mural, which features faces from some of Philomena Drake's iconic collographs, was commissioned by the precinct's owners.
The market also coincides with Station Road Creative Precinct's annual open studio weekend. Come visit the local artists' studios - it's a great opportunity to purchase art directly from artists, discover their inspiration and explore their creative spaces.
