Do you follow a vegan diet? Do you prefer to make your own food from scratch? Would you like to reduce your packaged food consumption? Perhaps you'd like to learn a new way of cooking using natural ingredients? Green Renters will be hosting a full day cooking class that might just tickle your taste buds.
Cate Lawrence will be teaching a Plant Based Cooking Masterclass in which she will be demonstrating how to make your own tofu and tempeh from scratch as well as a range of vegan cheeses, milks and plant based delights.
Cate became interested in vegan and healthy eating a few years ago when she completed a 30 day vegan challenge. She struggled with a lot of the realities of vegan cooking in the mainstream sense: lots of soy, expensive overly packaged food and imported foods. Now Cate is capable of making her own vegan food from scratch and she will be sharing her knowledge in a class that focuses on exploring the many health benefits of vegan cooking and plant based diets.
