plant based nutrition one day seminar
Whole-food Plant Based (WFPB) eating continues to grow both in credibility and popularity. Earlier this year, Canada released an updated Food Guide - the first major update in over 12 years. With a strong focus on plant-based eating, at the expense of meat and dairy, Canadians are now receiving very different advice towards what constitutes an optimal diet. It also sets a precedent for other countries to update their dietary guidelines in line with the most current evidence-base.
Plant Based Health Australia is the brain-child of Dr Malcolm Mackay and Jenny Cameron. Its aim is to promote and support whole foods plant-based nutrition in Australia. Jenny and Malcolm are both qualified nutritionists (Deakin University) and have completed the reputable Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell. Malcolm is also a practising GP and Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner. Jenny is also a qualified wellness coach.
