Try a meatless beef burger for yourself
Feel like having meat but don't want to eat meat? Then plant-based meat is just the right thing for you. Burger places around Adelaide are starting to serve up beef patties with no beef. Yes, you read it right, you can now get meatless patties in your beef burgers!
Grill'd is offering Beyond Burgers which it claims to have the juiciness, texture, look and taste of a normal beef burger. These Beyond Burger patties are plant-based, GMO-free, soy-free and gluten-free. I had my first taste of it this week, and although it tasted somewhat nice, I don't think I could be convinced that it was "beef tasting". But, that's just my opinion, you'll have to try it for yourself and see. As an added plus, you can get two Beyond Burgers for the price of one every Monday until the end of the year if you sign up to be a Relish member.
Besides Grill'd, Hungry Jack's is also offering burgers with zero beef. These Rebel Whoppers are made from plants, but still flame-grilled like the traditional Whopper. And, of course, don't forget Lord of the Fries with their range of 100% plant-based vegan burgers.
