So much to little time...
Celebrate our planet

PlanetFest is a celebration of nature and conservation, an initiative of the IUCN World Parks Congress 2014. Join in the fun and come help celebrate our amazing planet and all that it has to offer with this free and fun family day out being held at Cathy Freeman Park.

With a showcase of animals from Taronga park Zoo, face painting and arts and crafts to a soccer zone, rock climbing wall and sports zone, kids of all ages and interests are catered for.

Why not try your hand at basket weaving and Aboriginal rock painting at the workshops being held, indulge in some food from the numerous stalls or take in some live entertainment including World Music by Nicky Bomba . As day turns to night, sit back and relax with the evening film screening of "Journey to the South Pacific", narrated by Cate Blanchett.
