I've been freelancing for over 4 years in PR and journalism, I'm now based in Liverpool, England. You can see a body of my work on Yelp.com and on Liverpool.com. When not reviewing or interviewing I write comedy for TV.

If you're at a loose end over the weekend, why not visit Planet on Beafort St, Mt Lawley. It's one of those shops with an immense library of DVDs, books, music and video games that you can lose yourself in.
It's not your bog standard video store; they have specialist categories throughout each department and the staff are very knowledgeable and the prices are fair and there are always some great offers.
They have an extensive film collection, offering a lot more than the likes of blockbuster and other franchise rental companies. Ranging from Hollywood blockbusters to world cinema, live music and specialist documentary, there's literally something for everyone.
The book store at Planet is very well stocked with plenty of specialist literature. The music section is fantastic with rare EPs, new releases and a great catalogue.
I'd fully recommend this to avid readers, film buffs, musicians and music lovers alike. It really is a great place to merit the art of escapism, and it is located on a fantastic cappuccino strip, just outside of Perth
