1. Soho House

Soho House is a "home away from home" for creative types, and it is coming to Sydney. This is how the fashion, music, art, and film stars mingle. If you get recommended and get past the application process, then an annual fee of $2500 gives you access to an amazing range of Soho House locations worldwide. Expect dining areas, bars, lounges, and concierge service.

2. Entrepreneurs Organisation

If you have a business with over $1 million in turnover, then you can join the Entrepreneurs Organisation . This networking group for business owners operates in Sydney and gives access to 12000 members worldwide. There are conferences, impressive guest speakers, social events, and a yachting group - it seems the $6000 annual fee may just be worth it.

3. Tetsuya's

Tetsuya's is built around a secluded Zen garden on Kent Street, The world-famous ten-course degustation costs a minimum of $355 per person, with perfectly matched wines.



4. Bar Patron

After dinner, why not head for a nightcap - the Millionaire's Margarita will set you back a cool $100 at Bar Patron. When the ingredients include a 150-year old Grand Marnier with a splash of Remy Martin Louis XIII and gold leaf presented in artistic glassware, you should probably sip it slowly.

5. Wonderland Sydney

Key attractions at Wonderland Sydney in Eastern Creek included 'The Bush Beast' wooden roller coaster, 'Fred Flinstone's Splashdown' and Hanna-Barbera Land, amongst others. This fun park opened in 1985 and was swamped by families each holiday, but as business declined. It was eventually shut in 2004.

Mensa is the high IQ society. To qualify for membership to Mensa, you'll need an IQ score that is in the top 2 percent of the Australian population. Give it a go, you never know.

7. Tank Stream

There is a ballot to tour the underground Tank Stream for only $35. The only way to join it is to be to be selected in a ballot that runs twice per year, and a massive number of people try their luck. You'll get to see 60 metres of this heritage-listed tunnel built by convicts and stonemasons.
