There is plenty to see and do at the City Hall - from free tours of the hall at 10.30 am,11.30 am and 1.30 pm, and other tours in the building, but you need to book. Phone 07 3339 0845 or book online. You can also book the free Clock Tower Tour and visit the Brisbane Museum - all in the City Hall Building.
There is so much to see in this building that it could take all day!
At 63 Adelaide Street, opposite the City Hall is a wonderful display about the Brisbane Metro - the new way to travel around Brisbane that is still a work in progress. The display at this venue is very interesting and well worth a visit. Check here.
A short distance from the Central Railway Station (at 285 Ann Street) is Anzac Square, with so much to learn about The Memorial Galleries are closed on Saturdays and public holidays but opening hours on other days are 10 am to 4 pm.
