Besides attending events such as working bees, concerts, trivia nights and gala dinners, you can also support bushfire-impacted communities by making a decision on where you will shop. There are a number of places throughout Adelaide and its surrounds that will contribute something, be it big or small, towards bushfire relief whenever you visit and make a purchase.

The Foodland at Frewville and Pasadena is donating all revenue from the Kangaroo Island products you purchase between the 16th and 18th of January to the Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief & Recovery Bushfire Fund. The money in this fund will go to those businesses and producers impacted either by the fires or by reduced tourist numbers.

Until the 19th of January, Fasta Pasta is donating $1 to the Vinnies SA Bushfire Appeal for every serve of garlic bread you purchase.

Muffin Break is donating $1 to WIRES for every lamington product you purchase in the month of January. WIRES rescues and cares for native wildlife and livestock caught in fire-devastated areas. The two lamington products available are its smash-hit lamington muffin with a Darrell Lea coconut rough centre and its luscious lamington milkshake also made with Darrell Lea coconut roughs plus MILKLAB coconut milk.

Chatime is running a 'round it up' program for the months of January, February and March. By rounding up your drink purchases to the nearest dollar, every donated cent will go to the Red Cross.
