Top 10 Places to Buy Succulents in Perth
Succulents come in all range of shapes and colours and their hardiness is renowned- making them a great plant for those without a green thumb.
Bunnings has a good range of succulents these days, but you're competing with all of Perth if you want to get anything different. If you're not there when the stock is unpacked, you'll be left with all the usual suspects.
If you're a succuphile looking for something different, try these Top 10 places to buy succulents in Perth.
Hills Botanic: This home-based studio exhibits at markets around Perth, mostly in the hills area. Follow them on Facebook to see where they'll be next. They do amazing succulent wreaths around Christmas.
Waldecks- With only 4 stores in Perth, you might not immediately think of Waldecks if there's not one close by. Their stores are in Bentley, Melville, Stirling, Kingsley, and they have a different stockist to Bunnings so you can expect some variety.
John Cole's Nursery, Banjup: While they're Perth's largest camellia grower, they also stock a variety of other plants including succulents. If you're looking for pots too they have a great range.
Rare Imports, Wandi: Importers of unusual succulents, Rare Imports are open Saturday's from 9.30am- 12pm as well as selling online. You're looking at a more expensive purchase, but there will be something you can't get from the usual stores.
Little Leaf Co, Myaree: This store specialises in indoor plants, but they have a small selection of succulents. They've also got some amazing pots that you won't find anywhere else, perfect to display your succulents.
Fickle Prickles: These guys are online only, but you'll find their stock in some local stores too. They also do made to order succulent wedding favours!
Succulents Perth, Leda: The nursery is open Saturday's, check on their website for hours and dates, otherwise you can buy online.
Owys Garden, Bunbury: You'll have to travel further afield for this store, but a stop past on the way down south will be well worth it!
Andrews Succulents, Neerabup: Open 10am- 3pm daily, Andrews gets rave reviews on Facebook!
If this isn't enough for you, try stalking local markets. There's a great grower at the Farmer's Market on Manning who has some great value items, but you have to get in quick. The occasional private seller will go onto Gumtree and there are also some Facebook groups that love to talk all things succulent- start with the Cactus and Succulent Society of WA.
