1) And this is my NUMER one.
Robort Gordon's Paint your own warehouse experience in Pakenham. Childhood fingerpainting meets Adults pinterest obsession.
As a Melbourne child you probably had at least one part at the Plaster fun house – if you didn't you were ripped off. Pick your plate/bear/sea horse paint away and glaze. It was THE best party. Now you can do it as an adult without having to take a child with you as an excuse.
Not only does Robort Gordon make the most beautiful handmade homeware pieces, but they allow you to have a part in the process. The perfect way to personalize a gift with your mother, something to take home and treasure, that you both had a hand in making. Start at $14 it won't require a bank loan.
2)
Moss Green High Tea in Armadale
I find this is one of those find you only find if someone has taken you there. Stretch your pinkies on the way there and get them ready to raise them as you drink delicious t2 tea and snack on their treats.
Set next to their very own gallery, this high tea is the perfect treat for those mums that like things a little bit fancy.
3)
Little Creatures Brewery Foodhall
I realise you may now be questioning what my own Mum is like as this isn't the most mumsy suggestion, but I guarantee it will surprise you. Their whole concept when ordering is based around sharing, sliders (my favourite), wedges, woodfire pizzas and delicious homemade ginger beer provide the perfect basics for the Mum that just wants to have her family around her for lunch.
