Any excuse is a good excuse to eat chocolate
World Chocolate Day occurs globally on the 7th of July each year. People celebrate this day by eating, drinking and consuming chocolate. You may or may not be a fan but I think any excuse is a good excuse to eat chocolate. So here are some of the best (in my opinion) chocolatiers around Adelaide.
South Australian family owned and operated Bracegirdle's House of Fine Chocolate makes their own range of fine chocolates on-site by hand. You can indulge in divine hot chocolates and decadent desserts at any of their five cafe locations - Toorak Gardens, Cross Road, Glenelg, Marion or McLaren Vale.

Cocolat prepares handmade and handcrafted chocolate delicacies in their purpose-built artisan kitchen at Balhannah in the Adelaide Hills region. Their selection of beloved chocolate desserts can be found at seven different locations including the Adelaide Airport.
Haigh's Chocolates first opened its doors in 1915 and today is the oldest family-owned chocolate maker in Australia. They have six retail stores in Adelaide offering a choice of over 250 varieties of chocolates from popular frogs to delectable truffles. You can also take a free factory viewing tour at their visitor centre in Parkside to see how their chocolates are made.
Chocolate at No 5 located in Hahndorf serves a combination of chocolates and waffles to satisfy your cravings. From fine truffles to decadent desserts, and smooth hot chocolates, you won't be disappointed.

Whatever you do on the 7th of July, just remember to eat chocolate. Happy World Chocolate Day everyone!
