"Come Eat!" in the heart of Westhampton Beach (just about two hours East of Manhattan), there is a wonderful pizzeria called pizzetteria brunetti. Nestled inside a marketplace that includes a Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream Counter and a Country Market, is a pizza counter that is a definite must see!

When you walk into this slice of summertime paradise, you are welcomed like family. This is a bright, clean space with nice marble top counters that can seat about ten patrons. Take out is a big part of this family business. The owners Michael and Jason Brunetti ('pop' and 'sonny') are true food artisans.

It is a nice place to relax with a nice glass of Prosecco or Italian wine. Wine drunk in old fashioned glasses is so authentically Italian.

Yes, that pizza slicer is signed by Giada de Laurentiis!

The menu is purely Neapolitan - including pizza Marinara, Margherita, Parma, Vongole Bianco (clam), San Gennaro (sausage and peppers), Verde Misto (chopped salad), Spezie (spicy) and Bianco (white). There are also Specials and Calzones.

Neapolitan pizza has a fluffy crust that integrates with the unique toppings well. The imaginative specials like the goat cheese, mushroom and truffle oil pizza will linger in your memory forever.

Perhaps you are in the mood for an Italian coffee and a dessert pizza. They offer a Nutella dessert pizza that is a favorite with the children! Also there may be a Special dessert pizza available on the day of your visit, like the one with mascarpone cheese, raspberries, almonds and vanilla sauce.

The kids can enjoy a soft drink or an Orangina with their slices. Whether you are stopping in for a take away or relaxing at the counter, be sure to read the menu! This family is committed to taking back slow food and returning to "the art of food" using fresh, local and organic foods Their philosophy is "people deserve the best, to eat well and be treated right".
